Finally

Alright, so it's not the lack of happenings since I returned from my second trip in a month to La Ronge, which will explain the lack of posting on this blog.

Rather, it's the abundance.

I have a few half-started posts, which I may or may not finish. It seems I got bored and/or tired at the mid-way point and caesed all publishing full stop. I certainly won't finish them now--I'm surprised I'm even awake enough to operate a laptop at this moment.

What I will do tonight is show a few photos I got off my sister's camera (and one or two from mine) and leave them as proof of (a) life (think of it as a top five list):

Top Five Things I've been too busy to blog with:

Avoiding Ruining family photos

Ball, ball and more ball. I think I'm busy hitting a foul right about there. Look at that bug being squished.

Extreme bocci (I can't believe how much bocci there has been).

Things I've recently learned about bocci ball:

1) there is a bocci code

2) including a bocci anthem, which I was previously ignorant to,

3) the rumour of glow-in-the-dark bocci still stands,

4) the Roste family is working on a newer, more hardcore version of bocci, which includes (but is not limited to): hide-and-go-seek, grudge matches, overhand throwing and tiki torches.

An epic, last-minute, unplanned trip to Saltspring Island, which I'm still reeling from.

Being tan is a tough job but someone's got to do it.

Can believe you went to Salt Spring without me? Sigh - that's it, you can't come with Mike and I in two weeks!!!

Just kidding, of course you can.

Re: the first photo - I don't think you're the only one "ruining" the shot. In fact, most of your family seems in on it. You Rostes...

Just a random thought.

The idea of "extreme bocci" makes me laugh. I can't help but picture someone on the losing end of a game being pelted with hard balls.
